56 percent of Americans would give no confidence vote against Obama if given chance

Washington, Nov 18: A new poll has shown that 56 percent of Americans will pass a no-confidence vote against the Obama administration, if given a chance. The Fox News poll also showed that 68 percent of respondents said they did not foresee any sign of economic revival, and 48 percent felt Obama's policies have hurt the economy rather than stimulating it.About 42 percent of respondents approved of Obama, as compared to 48 percent who held the contrary view.The poll showed, however, 59 percent of Americans were optimistic about the country's future.Sixty seven percent of respondents were optimistic about America's long-term future, as compared to 56 percent of Republicans and 49 percent of Independents.According to the poll, US Congress had only 12 percent job approval rating, while 80 percent of respondents disapproved Congress' task, Fox News reports.The poll, which interviewed 914 randomly- chosen registered American voters, was conducted between November 13 and 15.
