RIYADH,March14,2012: The Embassy of India Riyadh will hold an Open House for the members of the Indian community residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 15, 2012 in the Embassy premises from 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs.During the Open House, members of the community can meet His Excellency Mr. Hamid Ali Rao Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other officers of the Embassy to discuss their consular, labour-welfare and any other issues.All interested members of the community are invited to attend the Open House.It may be recalled that the Indian Embassy had earlier held an open house on 2nd February and large number of Indian labors and workers got an opportunity to directly interact with the senior officials. For those whose applications related to passport renewal, attestation etc. are pending at the embassy, they were directly informed about the status. Many were directed to the concerned officials present at their office to solve the issue or guide.Those who need sort out their issues with their sponsors or whose cases are with the local authorities, they were guided by the senior officials.The open house is an initiative of the Indian Ambassador Mr. Hamid Ali Rao who announced about this in his speech after flag hoisting on Republc Day. In his speech he said that some poeple tried to discourage him from holding an open house but he insisted to reach the Indian community, specially those in distress and need help from embassy. Accordingly the first open house was organized on 2nd February.
