NEW DELHI,March27,2012: At least 15 CRPF jawans were killed and many more injured in a Maoist attack in a remote location in eastern Maharashtra on Tuesday, according to official sources. Around noon, the CRPF convey was moving for area domintaion and to conduct an operation based on some specific information. The incident took place near Pushtola in Gadchiroli district when a bus carrying the jawans hit a landmine planted by Naxalites. Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra borders Andhra Pradesh one of the major Maoist bastions in the region.
