Naxal leader Nayeem had female guards a la Gaddafi

HYDERABAD(India),20,Jan,2012: Renegade Maoist Mohammed Nayeemuddin seems to be greatly inspired by slain Libyan dictator Gaddafi. Like the former dictator, who entrusted his security to seven virgin killing machines', Nayeemuddin was recently seen guarded by four rifle-toting masked damsels.
Anil alias Nagesh, the prime accused in the Patolla Goverdhan Reddy murder case, reportedly told police that the murder was planned meticulously and they had waited for over three months to eliminate the gangster.Confessing that he directly participated in the murder, Anil claimed that he was first contacted by Nayeem's trusted aide Sheshanna alias Ramachandrudu, a surrendered Maoist from Mahbubnagar, in September 2011 seeking a meeting. Anil, who was already angry with Patolla for not providing him sufficient financial assistance, agreed for the meeting. After Anil agreed to meet him, Sheshanna arrived at the former's house at government quarters in Malakpet with his associates. "Anil said he was blind-folded and driven for over an hour in a four-wheeler to reach an undisclosed location in the city," an investigating officer, who was involved in the interrogation. Once the blindfold was removed, Anil saw Nayeem guarded by four women carrying assault rifles. The women were dressed in military fatigues and their faces were covered with scarves, the official added.During that meeting, which lasted for about an hour, Nayeem instructed Anil to eliminate Patolla and promised to take care of his security and financial safety.About 50 days after the meeting, Nayeem paid a surprise visit to Anil's Chilakanagar rented accommodation and told him to quickly form a team to eliminate Patolla. Sheshanna even paid Anil Rs 2 lakh as advance to execute the task, the officer said.Subsequently, Anil contacted four of his associates and discussed the idea with them. Anil gave his associates some money and a murder plan was hatched. As part of the plan, four days prior to the murder, Anil requested Patolla to inaugurate his NGO 'Deshpremi' office at the government quarters in Malakpet on December 24. The team members were ready with weapons to eliminate Patolla, but their plan failed as the gangster did not turn up. During this time, Anil started pestering Patolla to give him Rs 50,000 to take care of some immediate family requirements. On December 28, Patolla called up his friend Narayana Reddy and asked him to inform Anil to meet him near MLA quarters to take the money. "Anil immediately alerted his teammates and asked them to rush to MLA quarters. While Anil was accompanying Patolla, his team followed them on bikes and the gangster was killed in Boggulakunta," the officer said. After the murder, the assailants went to Yadagirigutta and then to Chennai, where they stayed for a day and returned to Hyderabad. Then, they met Sheshanna in Yadagirigutta. He made them make the video claiming that Nayeem had nothing to do with the murder. The video was then circulated to TV channels and a few days later the assailants surrendered before police.Anil did not give any specific leads about the whereabouts of Sheshanna, who is the key absconding accused. He told the cops that Sheshanna was monitoring the movements of Patolla very closely by staying in the same building at Bhavani Nagar in Dilsukhnagar where the gangster's family stayed. However, police found no evidence to support this argument. During the interrogation, Anil told police that he had no role in Patolla's associate Sridhar Reddy missing case. Anil along with the other accused Prashant Reddy would be produced in court on Friday.
