Indian-origin Bhavin Shah arrested for helping illegal migrants in UK

London, November 14: An Indian-origin man has been arrested in Britain for helping illegal migrants come into the country, get married or enter colleges. Bhavin Shah, 34, was secretly filmed by an undercover team of The Sun daily. He told them how he arranged for people to come into the country, fixed up weddings and sorted college placings.
“If you want to bring someone from India here, I can get a man from India for 3,000 pounds,” Shah was quoted as saying.
Shah operated from a suite with its own reception and security staff in Wembley, north London, said a report handed over to police working with the UK Border Agency (UKBA).
Shah said he charged 4,750 pounds to arrange enrolment and a two-and-a-half year student visa. He also had a website of an IT and management college licensed by the UKBA.
He was arrested by police and immigration officials on suspicion of facilitating illegal immigration.
