Rajinikanth's health is fine, say doctors
CHENNAI, May 6, 2011: Actor Rajinikanth was back to normal on Thursday after he was admitted to a Chennai hospital on Wednesday with breathlessness and fever. Rajinikanth was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of St. Isabel Hospital, Mylapore, for the second time within a week for the same symptoms. "He is now doing well and his condition is stable. He needs complete rest for at least a couple of more days,'' said Dr Kishore of St. Isabel Hospital. Rajinikanth's family members have requested his fans and relatives not to visit him in the hospital. His daughter Aishwarya Dhanush said: "There's nothing to worry. He is perfectly fine. He was hospitalized at Isabel at about 7pm on Wednesday due to fever and allergic bronchitis. Doctors have advised rest and he will be under observation for two more days.'' She said that last time Rajinikanth went back home, he had a lot of visitors. This time doctors are quite strict about not having visitors. Last Friday, the Enthiran star was hospitalised briefly after exhaustion due to dehydration and fever. That time, the actor was feeling uneasy during the mahurat shot of his forthcoming period film `Raana' where he plays a triple role. Chief minister Karunanidhi visited the superstar at the hospital last Friday.
