Soon, visa on arrival at 4 more airports

NEW DELHI,Jan21: The Prime Minister's Office has asked the home ministry to extend the scheme of tourist visa on arrival to airports including Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi and Bengaluru within the next one year. Currently, tourists who want to avail this facility must enter from either Delhi or Mumbai airports. The decision was taken at an inter-ministerial committee meeting held on Thursday under principal secretary to the PM Pulok Chatterjee. A coordination committee including senior officials from the ministries of home, external affairs and tourism has been set up to resolve day-to-day visa-related complaints.
