Dubai, December 1: Kuwait-based non-resident Indian Mathews Mammen has won the “Glory of India Award” during a award presentation ceremony held in Dubai on November 18. “Glory of India Award” is presented to residents as well as non-resident Indians and to a galaxy of achievers of extra ordinary excellence in different fields of life, including business and industry, science and technology, medicine, architecture and engineering among others. The award is arranged by India International Friendship Society (IIFS), an international organization of global repute which promotes universal brotherhood and works for India’s development by campaigning for and mobilizing NRI and foreign investment in India. Mammen was honoured for his field performance (engineering) as well as social activities. The awards were presented by the chairman of IIFS & ex-director of CBI Joginder Singh.
