Chandigarh, Oct 7 (PTI) Lt. Gen. (Retd.) B S Dhaliwal has been conferred the 'Engineer of the Year Award 2011' by Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP).
Dhaliwal was the first Indian recipient to be honoured with this prestigious award along with Su Guaning of Singapore during the 33rd anniversary of FEIAP held atSingapore on October 4, said an official release.
Dhaliwal, who got the award for his outstanding contribution in the field of Engineering, is also Advisor (Technical) to the Punjab Chief Minister. He (Dhaliwal) has not only made Punjab proud but also the country, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said.
